Introductory Letter

My name is Jonathan Boparai and I am 18 years old. I am from India, but I was born here in the U.S. My birthdate is November 10, 2001, and my life is not that amazing, but I am thankful for everything that I have and everything that brought me to this point. You can see me quite as a shy person, but when I get close to someone, I am not particularly quiet. In general, I am a fun person to be around! My life has been a roller coaster, but nothing to kick me off of it. I am going through it all and will continue to do so! One day, I want to be a computer engineer and I would like to go through the struggles of trying to be one. Life already tried to throw me off, but it could not! This leads me to a meaningful story that made me the man I am today.

I would like to talk about a salient life experience that I went through around the age of 2 or 3. I was very prone to having seizures, and this time I literally had a life and death experience. To be very honest, I surprisingly remember a bit of the instance, and my parents told me the rest of what happened in their perspective. I was playing in the living room with my toys and my mom was watching me when in the blink of an eye, death literally passed by me. I could not breathe for a few seconds, I started to shake nonstop and my mom started panicking. She then moved me on my side, and immediately called my dad and 911. Everyone started to aggressively panic and I stopped breathing for a few seconds which gradually went all the way to 17 minutes. I was gone for 17 minutes and I turned blue, after that I opened my eyes and I started to breathe again. Yes, this was a life and death experience, and it really made me the man I am today. One more thing, that was the last time I had a seizure!

Sad times aside, I also would like to talk about the few things I accomplished as I grew up. I taught myself how to play the guitar, I also taught myself how to sing. In my free time, I love to play video games and basketball. These are my favorite things! I love computers and other electronic items. During the summer, I built my own table, computer, and my keyboard! This leads me to talk about my major and what I want to be when I grow up. I want to be a computer engineer and decided that my major would be computer engineering. These are the few things that kept me going through life!

In general, this is my life in a nutshell, through thick and thin, God helped me make it through. Honestly, he is the reason I am here today and he is the reason why I am the man I am today, and I can say that my parents are proud of me and I am also proud of myself.
